    • Me too Elephant! Although, a part of me mourns the loss of the books. But, maybe they would have otherwise gone to recycling and this is a much better use of them.

      • Books rot! Sorry, that is kind of harsh but true. Books get moldy and decompose and fall apart. I wish books could survive and “live” forever, but for the most part ordinary books “die.” Books printed today (which I buy and read – because I like books) are printed on junky paper and will last a very few years (money saving for publishers?). Old books of some quality that are in good condition might be saved, but there are many many books in terrible shape that are just going to fall apart – better art with books than having these lost books just end up in the trash! Think how great it is for an old book to have another incarnation and a final lofty moment in the artistic sun!
